Nestled in the heart of Snohomish, we combine the personal touch of a small-town business with decades of expertise in the window industry.
As two family-owned businesses—CMG Windows & Renovations (installation specialists) and UMeasureIt (a Certified Dealer of Milgard Windows)—we bring together the experience, innovation, and energy of three generations of one family.
Jeffrey Keirstead, owner of UMeasureIt, began his career in the window industry over 40 years ago at his uncle’s manufacturing firm. In 2003, he established UMeasureIt in Snohomish, growing it into a thriving Certified Dealer of Milgard Windows and Doors—one of the most trusted manufacturers in the field.
Jeffrey’s son-in-law, Clay Gadekar, brought 25 years of construction experience to CMG. In 2004, he and his wife, Echo McIntyre, founded CMG Windows & Renovations. Since then, they have earned the trust of over 1,800 Northern Puget Sound clients by delivering expert craftsmanship and outstanding service.
When you work with CMG, Clay personally measures your windows and doors, recommends features tailored to your home, and ensures every detail is perfect. Whether he installs the products himself or oversees the process, Clay guarantees a craftsman-level finish.
Echo supports you every step of the way—from creating a proposal that fits your budget and style to scheduling delivery and installation. She’s always available to answer your questions, big or small, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
Clay and Echo have raised three children in a 115-year-old Snohomish home that Clay has lovingly remodeled. In his spare time, he enjoys designing and building custom furniture.
Their oldest, Elliot, started working with CMG installations as a teenager and is now a full-time web developer. He built this website and advises CMG on digital marketing.
